Some people call me Clarence, others Clang, at home (and as of my re-rebranding in 2017), it's Aren. I'm a 22-year-old European Languages major turned graphic artist and web developer based in the Philippines.

I like taking selfies and eating breakfast food. I have a knack for writing, terrible, self-deprecating jokes, and public speaking. Talk to me about cultural studies, art and music, politics, intersectional feminism, memes, oh, and makeup. Comfy is the lifestyle I live.

I want to open some sort of animal sanctuary in the future. Help me achieve that dream by hiring me to work for you.

Here are my social media accounts, feel free to check me out, uh, I mean, check my stuff out.

(You’re gonna be seeing a lot of my selfies. You're welcome.)

HERE IS WHERE I TRY TO IMPRESS YOU

What can I say? I like to binge-watch TV series and I usually listen to artists one album at a time all in one go. I like watching live bands but I don't like being around too many people for too long. I like movie musicals, but the real cast musicals are always more special...

Oh, right, I'm supposed to talk about work. Well, I speak four languages -- English, Filipino, Italian, German. I’ve also volunteered abroad and worked for different companies all over the place. Here’s my LinkedIn.

I am a graphic designer. I’ve been designing since 2010. (Honestly I think I only got really good in 2015. I'm pretending my old work from 2010 to late 2014 doesn't exist.) Here’s my Behance.

I started learning code in 2017, and I've heard lots of praise from my instructors and peers, so I think I'm doing pretty well. Here’s my Github.

Oh, and I’m pretty okay at taking photos (not only of myself, I swear).

At present, I'm learning how to code at Vivixx Coding Bootcamp

The whole experience has been tons of fun, even when I've found myself a little lost at times. I'd like to think I've been doing pretty well for myself considering what little coding experience I had to begin with. :-)

Term 1 passed by so fast, I can't believe it was five weeks. Here are one-minute summaries for each of the weeks we went through.

While the first term has been more about getting a feel of Ruby and learning about HTML and CSS, Term 2 has focused on Rails and the business side of startups. I feel like it went by in a blur, but I've learned a lot more.

We're currently on the third term, and things have been going... going. Not my proudest term, I guess. It's all very new, but I'm having fun anyway. This term focuses on Javascript and MERN Stack.

While all the Term 3 codes can be found in one big Vivixx Term 3 Repository, you can still click on the projects to check out the individual codes on Github.

Feel free to send me a message if you wanna get something off your chest (or if you have a job you need done, heh).
